Anyone know which gives the best results on slightly lightening and removing orangey-yellow hair tonesREDKEN lightening conditioner or MATRIX Silver shampoo?

A blonde shampoo will not really ';remove'; yellow or brassy tones. They just tend to enhance the blonde over time. If you are trying to remove unwanted tones after a color, you really need to use a toner. If you are looking for a shampoo to enhance and maintain blonde, then go for the Matrix Silver.
I will add though that blonde hair does pick up more of the nasty particles floating in the air,such as smoke, and can actually turn colors from it. If this is the case, then you need a good clarifying shampoo, followed by a blonde shampoo.
